Thank you for visiting the UTokyo Alumni Association in Washington DC. This network helps members benefit from the talented UT alumni engaged in diverse fields in the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area through in-person networking events and online communications. As of January 2024, over 120 alumni participates in this network.

Activities

In-person networking events

We organize happy hours once or twice a year to help alumni get acquainted with each other.

Information sharing

The member can exchange information with other members via the distribution list and Facebook group. We may also extend the information platform to other social media in future.

Partnership with the U-Tokyo

Every summer, we host a study tour by the students of U-Tokyo in collaboration with the UT Alumni network in Chicago (Chicago Akamon-kai). Students visit places like NIH, IMF, World Bank, Embassy of Japan, etc.
